The Motion Computing Tablet PC Fundamentals training course provides the knowledge and skills required to successfully use the unique features and functionality of the Motion Tablet PCs.

Training Overview

This one day (3-5 hour) instructor-led course provides the essential information to successfully incorporate Motion Tablet PCs into your day-to-day work environment. The instructor presentation, feature demonstration, and hands on student exercises enable you to quickly employ the robust mobile platform, pen, and speech recognition capabilities.

Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of this training event you should be able to:

• Describe the features of your Motion Tablet PC
• Identify, access, and use the Tablet PC ports, indicators, and buttons
• Perform end user maintenance tasks
• Customize your Tablet PC environment using the Motion Dashboard and the Tablet and Pen Settings
• Access, customize, and use the Tablet Input Panel to:
   - Input text into Microsoft Office Applications
   - Configure and use Speech Recognition
• Use the digital pen and ink capabilities to:
   - Add ink comments and annotate MS office applications
• Access and use Microsoft Journal and OneNote
• Configure and use the Motion OmniPass finger print reader
• Configure and use the Trusted Platform Module security feature
