Forms2Base consists of a Forms Designer tool running on the desktop and the Forms2Base client running on the Tablet PC (see our award winning Motion Tablet PCs) used by field personnel. Forms2Base is a forms automation product offering that enables paper forms to be converted to digital forms which can then be filled out from a Tablet PC. The completed form may be transmitted wirelessly as an email attachment to desktop PCs or passed to an enterprise "back-end" system using an industry standard XML interface. |

Forms2Base DesignerThe Forms Designer tool allows the client to create electronic versions of paper forms in order to take full advantage of the handwriting recognition capability of the Tablets. Forms are designed by bringing an electronic image of any existing paper form into the Forms Designer software running on any desktop computer, and then adding characteristics for each field. This includes fields for printed text, numeric input, alpha-numeric input, and calculated fields. Forms Designer includes form publishing functionality that allows the electronic forms to be pushed out to the Tablet PCs, via the Field2Base server. Users who have basic computer skills with MS Word and MS Excel can easily use Forms Designer to turn their paper forms into "smart forms" that take full advantage of the handwriting recognition capability of the Tablets. |

Forms2Base clientThe Forms2Base client allows field users to complete digital versions of their current paper based forms using the Tablet PC and digital pen to mimic their current pen to pad process. Completed forms can then be communicated to the home office for processing. The completed form may be transmitted wirelessly to desktop PCs as an email attachment or passed to enterprise back-end systems for automated data entry using an industry standard XML interface. |
