Active Ink Form

The Paperless Solution

Employees that spend time filling out paper documents often must retype the data into a computer. This transcription process is subject to input errors and a waste of time, because it's a duplication of effort.

Active Ink's Form Design products address this data redundancy by eliminating the paper document and creating a digital form that can be filled out with a pen stylus.

Once the data is stored in a digital format, it can be shared with other employees within your organization or forwarded to your peers outside your organization.

Active Ink's software operates on both touch screen and Tablet PC (see our award winning Motion Tablet PCs ) platforms. They support the ability to capture handwritten ink and convert it to text. Active Ink's E-Form software was designed for people who work in a mobile work environment, stand a good portion of the day and fill out paper forms with a pen.

Professional Designer

A form design tool for creating electronic forms. An Active Ink form is an ink enabled document and supports the handwriting recognition capabilities of the tablet PC.

An Active Ink form mirrors the look and feel of a paper document, but incorporates all of the advantages of a digital form (document retrieving, printing, editing, searching, emailing, etc).

An Active Ink form can be built from scratch, imported from a scanned image or converted from a PC document. It supports the ability to create custom data entry fields such as text, check boxes, drop down lists and signatures.

Once the form has been filled out, it can be saved and retrieved as a PC document, searched and retrieved from a database and exported to other applications.

Professional Client

A form filling program for opening an Active Ink form and filling it out.

Once the form has been created using the Professional Designer, it can be distributed to all Professional Client licensees and filled out using either a digital pen stylus or keyboard.

The form can be saved and retrieved as a PC document, searched and retrieved from a database and exported to other applications.

The Professional Client can be installed on a PC, a Tablet PC or an Ultra Mobile PC.
